Buyers Use of Products
PY Materials' products are intended primarily for industrial, laboratory, manufacturing, and research use. Unless specifically stated otherwise on our invoice, in writing, or on product labels, they are not to be used for any other purposes, including—but not limited to—use as, or as components in, food, drugs, medical devices, in vitro diagnostic reagents, cosmetics (as defined by the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act), or pesticides (as defined by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act), nor for any human, veterinary, or household applications.
You acknowledge that our products have not been tested for safety or effectiveness in food, drug, cosmetic, or pesticide applications unless we have provided written confirmation stating otherwise. You represent and warrant that you will store, test, use, manufacture, and market any products purchased from us, and any final goods made from them, in a manner consistent with that of a knowledgeable professional and in full compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including those concerning food, drugs, medical devices, and cosmetics.
You accept full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, federal, and international laws within your jurisdiction. Please be aware that the hazards, toxicological, and physiological effects of many of our chemicals have not been fully studied or determined. Therefore, all chemicals must be handled with the utmost care during use, storage, and disposal.
We make no guarantees regarding outcomes and assume no liability for any damage to persons or property resulting from improper handling, storage, use, or disposal of our products. We are not liable for any conditions or actions beyond our control.
You further warrant that any final products you create using our materials will not be adulterated or misbranded under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, and will not be prohibited from interstate commerce under Sections 404, 505, or 512 of the Act.
You acknowledge that our products are primarily intended for laboratory use and may not be listed on the inventory of Existing Chemical Substances as defined by the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). We make no guarantee and assume no responsibility for the suitability of these products for commercial applications as defined under TSCA.
It is your responsibility to identify and understand the hazards associated with the products you purchase from us and to conduct any additional research necessary to ensure safe use. You are also obligated to inform your customers of any potential risks related to the handling or use of these products.
You agree to follow any instructions and product labeling provided by us regarding the use of the products and to refrain from any improper or unauthorized use.
If you resell our products, you are responsible for ensuring that your customers use them in accordance with the instructions, product labels, written materials, or invoices we provide. You must also ensure that none of your customers use our products in any food, drug, human, animal, household, or pesticide applications.
Order Cancelation
Bulk, Custom Synthesis, and Special Order items are non-cancellable.
Returns
Products may only be returned for credit with prior approval from PY Materials. Authorization must be obtained in advance before initiating any return. Please note that certain products and quantities are not eligible for return under any circumstances. These include:

Expired chemicals

Custom or special order items

Products without labels or safety seals

Items that appear to have been tampered with

Custom synthesis orders

Bulk orders
All approved returns must be made within 30 days of the original purchase date. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs. a restocking fee. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee of at least 35%. Please make sure to return products in their original packaging with the original label intact and in their original condition
Incorrect, Missing or Damaged Products
If you receive a product that is incorrect, damaged, or incomplete, please notify us within 5 days of delivery so we can promptly investigate and resolve the issue. We cannot assume responsibility for claims made after this period. Upon receiving your notice, we may need to inspect the affected products to determine the appropriate resolution. Possible actions may include replacing missing or damaged items, issuing a credit, adjusting the invoice for partial deliveries, or updating the invoice to reflect the actual quantity received.
